Inventory counts in SAP are still considered cumbersome, lengthy and error-prone. The reason for this is the many system and media breaches. Examples here are the printing and distribution of the counting lists to the counting teams as part of a deadline inventory as well as the manual, time-consuming and error-prone entry of counting data into SAP.
The advanced InventoryCount application of advancedsolution significantly accelerates stocktaking and inventory processes in the company while eliminating manual error potentials.
Based on the latest SAP technologies, the barcodes of the material are scanned with standard mobile devices (tablets, smartphones) as well as classic barcode readers, the material data is read out via the recorded barcode information and tested and validated against the master data in SAP.
The recording of counting data is carried out via the respective mobile device with direct transfer to the SAP backend.

Validation of the recorded counting data can be carried out in the SAP backend or alternatively via a web application.
Due to the deep integration into the SAP Modules Materials Management (IM) and SAP Warehouse Management (WM/EWM), the recorded counting data for the material automatically find their inventory document and can be transferred at the click of a mouse.
Necessary corrections and also recounts (generation of a recount document) are also possible via the validation component of the advanced InventoryCount solution.
